(Trafalgar Miyoko's POV) I looked at the town and smiled upon it. It was just a small village with beautiful, scarlet trees that are rare, in my case.
"This town is known as Scarlet Town," Michiko said with a small smile on her face. "Scarlet Town is known for its beautiful scarlet trees, and most of the products from here are scarlet red."
"Well, it's the most beautiful town I've ever seen," I complimented as the crew got ready to go into town.
"Listen up, everyone," Melissa announced as she walked out onto the deck with Hiroshi right behind her. "Be careful in this town. We're here to spend the night and to get supplies here. Do not get our ship mixed up with someone else's ship. This island is on the border of the North and East Blue, so whatever you do, don't try any stupid crap!"
'Why would she warn us to not get the ships mixed up??' I asked with a raised eyebrow. I was ready to ask, but everyone else was getting off the ship now, so instead of worrying over it, I shrugged it off and jumped off the ship.
"We'll go in pairs of two," Melissa announced with a smile on her face. "I'll go with Hiroshi, Umeko with Kozue, Kohana with Machiko, Miyoko with Michiko and Kioko, Mai with her kin, Koko with Kaiya, and Koto with Hikari. Get together with your said partner now so you don't fuck up!"
Once Melissa gave us the order to pair up with our said partners, I walked over to Michiko and Kioko – the younger sisters of the Shichibukai; these two girls were talking about clothing articles – and remembered that these girls were the best of friends, which ticked me off a slight bit.
'Great, I'm paired up with two of the most flamboyant girls on the crew…,' I thought with an animated sweat drop and a frustrated sigh.
"Is everyone paired with their said partner??" asked Hiroshi in a soft voice, which made most of us lean closer to the navigator. Understanding her a little bit, I looked over the small groups and saw that everyone was paired up with the right person.
"We're all paired up, Hiro-chan," I said with a small smile on my face, earning a small nod from the ever-so shy navigator.
"Yosh!" said Melissa le Rouge with a nod and an adventurous smile on her face. "We'll meet back at the ship once we're done! This meeting is now adjourned!"
With that, each group went their own separate ways, and entered the town of scarlet…
(Kozue's POV) Umeko and I walked away from where we just had our meeting and into the town of scarlet. I looked at the trees, and I was amazed at what I was seeing. The leaves, flowers, and even the bark of the trees were scarlet red, hence the town's name.
"We need some supplies so I can cook everyone some food," said Umeko – the Executive Chef of our crew, Sanji's twin sister, and a close friend of mine since the Baratie Incident – with a small frown on her face.
"We also need booze," I muttered as I remembered that we just ran out of sake not too long ago. "I'm thirsty."
"All you ever think about is to drink booze, Kozue," muttered Umeko with an animated sweat drop as we walked into the markets.
Umeko looked around and saw that the food looked great while I was looked at the sake and the alcohol that was to the right of me.
"Ume-chan~," I began with a slight purr in my voice, "can we go our separate ways so we can get the things we need~?"
"No, Kozue," Umeko said with a sigh as she turned to me. "You get as lost as your twin brother!"
"He uses the clouds," I said with a shrug of my shoulders. "On the other hand, I use the wind to guide me."
"THAT MAKES IT EVEN WORSE!!!!" exclaimed the ticked off Umeko with a comical, angry face with shark teeth.
"Either way, we'll meet back at the bar over there," I explained with a small smile as I pointed at the Scar Bar, something that isn't named 'scarlet.' Umeko looked from the Scar Bar and back to me, and she was ready to say something, but it was quickly stopped when she sighed in defeat.
"Alright, Zue-chan," Umeko said with a sigh as she did a face palm. "You win this round, but we'll meet up at Scar Bar! You better not get lost or I won't give you sake, understand?"
"I understand, Ume-chan…," I replied with a smile on my face as I walked over to check out the swords they have at the market. With that, Umeko went the other way.
As I walked over to the market, I looked up at the sky and saw that the sky was scarlet red, earning my curiosity. I blinked a few times and made sure that I wasn't dreaming, but once I opened my eyes, I saw that I wasn't dreaming; the clouds are scarlet red.
'What the hell happened to the clouds?' I asked myself as I kept walking without even looking forward. 'It wasn't like this when we landed on this island…'
Then, my thoughts were quickly stopped when I bumped into someone. I jumped back about three feet and blushed at how embarrassing I can be when it comes to not looking forward.
"I'm sorry, sir!" I apologized as I bowed to the man I bumped into, the blush still on my face.
"It was your fate," said the man as I stopped bowing, and this earned him a raised brow from me.
I was ready to ask what he meant by that, but without another word, he walked away from me. I looked at the man and thought that I remember him from being a pirate hunter back before I joined the Rose Pirates and Zoro joined the Straw Hat Pirates at the same time.
'That was my fate??' I asked with a confused expression on my face. 'That's one hell of a man if he knows of my fate…'
